Dear Self,
Did you lose something? I see you looking under the bed and digging your hands between the couch cushions. You’ve even rummaged through the junk drawer and sifted through the garbage. Have you tried your jean pockets in the laundry basket?
Self, don’t worry, I’m here to help you find it.
What did you lose?
– Did you lose your purpose? Something that brings true satisfaction and meaning to your life?
– Did you lose your hope? You’ve given up because an obstacle is staring you down and you can’t seem to find a way around it.
– Did you lose your direction in life? You’re on a road that is taking you the wrong way and you know it, but you keep following it anyways.
– Did you lose what’s most valuable by focusing on what’s temporary? Have the shiny things in life become more important to you than the relationships you can’t seem to find time for?
Self, you’re looking in all the wrong places! I know exactly where to find what you’ve lost. Try looking at the feet of Jesus. He can help you find all that you’re looking for and more. He’s the Sherlock Holmes to find what you’ve lost or perhaps what you never found to begin with.
