Dear Self,
Yikes! How did things go from bad to worse?!
It started as a bad day, but then it snowballed into an even worse day. And now that snowball has morphed into the Abominable Snowman!
Self, I know a secret… Eventually the sun will come out and melt the Abominable Snowman into a pool of water.
But ya gotta hang on. You can’t give up!
The sun may not come out today or even tomorrow, but it will eventually peek through.
In the meantime, Self, you don’t have to face this on your own!
God can be your strength in your very worst times. Remember, He sent His Son Jesus to die for all the junk that happens in your life… either from you making bad decisions or from the bad that others have done to you.
Keep in mind that Jesus experienced the very worst day in human history by dying on the cross and paying the price of hell for all the bad in this world, and all the bad that’s happened in your life.
Believe me Self, He understands your bad day and the Abominable Snowman that’s staring you in the eye.
The good news is that’s why He came to earth, so you wouldn’t have to carry all this on your own.
So remember Self that He’s not far off in the distance… in fact, He’s within breathing distance… only a prayer away. Just start talking and pouring your heart out to Him. Even if it feels like He’s far away, He’s really not.
Self, why face the Abominable Snowman on your own, when you don’t have to?
