Dear Self,
You’re being fooled by the perfect lie! The lie of the ages that people have used time and again… The sticky lie that keeps your feet glued to the ground so that you can’t move forward!
The perfect lie of course is that there is a perfect time. Everyone is waiting for that perfect moment to magically appear in their life.
But Self, purfect doesn’t exist! (yes, it’s misspelled on purpose because it’s not real!)
– You’re waiting for the perfect time to do such and such.
– You’re waiting for the perfect circumstances, till your ducks are all in a row. Self, ducks don’t stand in a perfect row!
– You’re waiting till you have the perfect skillset or experience.
– You’re waiting till that thing you want to go after fits perfectly in your schedule.
– You’re waiting until you’re perfectly good enough to deserve to do it.
Self, you’ll be waiting for a long time if that’s what you’re waiting for. What you should be looking for instead is the impurfect time, which is now!
Self, quit believing the perfect lie and let’s move forward in this impurfect moment.
